23rd Wagner Memorial
1 September 2026
Sport teaches us that we cannot predict everything. You can be well prepared, have a game plan and a strong team, yet the situation on the court can change in an instant.
Life is much the same, and that is exactly what we talked about during the 23rd Hubert Jerzy Wagner Memorial. For three days, we were there as the excitement of sport met questions about health, the future and having a personal Plan B. These conversations had a clear purpose: to help people move from “I know it matters” to “I know what to do.” We reached more than 2,000 people with this message, sharing practical ways to take care of themselves today and prepare for the unexpected.
It started with a simple question: how many years do you want to live in good health?
One of the attractions at our stand was the “life meter.” But its purpose went beyond displaying numbers. We wanted visitors to pause for a moment and consider: How long do you want to live? And how many of those years do you want to spend healthy and active?
The question sounds simple. But when you have to give a specific number, it prompts a few more:
Am I doing anything today to improve my chances of having that future?
Do I get regular health checks?
Do I only look after myself when my body starts sending warning signs?
Alongside my Plan A, do I also have a Plan B for something I never expected?
Another attraction that drew visitors throughout the three days was our reaction test. Here, theory quickly gave way to action. It was all about focus, quick reactions and split-second timing. There was friendly competition, laughter, repeated attempts to beat personal bests and comparisons with family and friends. But for us, this activity also carried a deeper message.
We asked participants how they think about their health and future
During the Memorial, we also conducted a survey among participants. We wanted to better understand how they think about their health, future, security and preparedness for the unexpected.
This was an important part of our presence at the event. As well as talking about preventive health and having a Plan B, we had the opportunity to listen to participants: their experiences, perspectives and what truly matters to them.
The survey complemented the conversations at our stand. It highlighted that thinking about the future is about more than how long we want to live. It is also about what we choose to do today to look after that future.
Three days, hundreds of conversations and one key takeaway
Our stand attracted plenty of interest throughout the Memorial. Adults, children, entire families and fans joined us, finding a moment between the sporting action to talk about their own lives. Because taking care of yourself begins long before something goes wrong. It starts earlier. It starts with you.
